The Data Analyst works directly with new and existing customers to enable the Customer Success and Engineering teams to maximize the value of their data assets/services of on-premises and cloud-based database solutions built on SQL Server. The Data Analyst reviews and evaluates data sets in support of data migration efforts. The Data Analyst documents entity and data models, data flow diagrams and uses SQL query language. As needed, the analyst writes data extracts and operational reports. A successful candidate possesses great attention to detail, strong critical thinking, and great analytical and SQL technical skills to provide the highest level of internal and external customer support.
Monitor, analyze, and translate data to increase quality and consumption.
Document entity and data models, flows, and interfaces.
Prepare data conversions/uploads and evaluate and process customer onboarding information using standard tools and by following established processes and guidelines.
Support company standards for database design, data integrity, and performance
Collaborate with external customers to analyze their needs and align data migration efforts and service offerings to strategic goals.
Interpret and review data to promote technology platform and industry best practices.
Develop a deep understanding of the functional and technical features of our software solutions and use this knowledge to address data issues/questions and opportunities.
Create queries and reports using SQL code best practices.
Uses experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
May perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) or equivalent from four-year College or technical school, or equivalent experience as a Data Analyst.
An equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
One to two years' experience programming with T-SQL.
One to two years' experience participating in technology projects.
Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of applications (especially Excel).
Azure and AWS knowledge and experience a plus.
Basic knowledge and understand of project/product management methodologies and tools.
Experience in Senior Living/Healthcare and Software industries is a plus.
Must have or be willing to get a COVID-19 vaccine, subject to legal requirements.
