About the role: We are looking for a dynamic team player to grow our business. The Client Engagement Director will be the primary relationship manager for Event Solutions and Sports customers and is responsible for account retention and growth. Additionally, the Client Engagement Director is accountable for securing additional business in alignment with company and individual target revenue goals.
About you You are an entrepreneurial and mission-driven leader who is both talented and experienced in incentives, events, corporate sports hospitality, account management & sales.
As a Client Engagement Director, Experience & Event Solutions, you will: - Drive sales activities, including the identification and pursuit of active meetings & incentive targets as well as sports & entertainment targets. - Drive the strategy for the development of proposals, presentations, contracts and other thought leadership materials for current and prospective accounts - Participate in strategic planning and account development meetings to ensure a solid pipeline of leads and new target accounts - Responsible for constructing solutions and pricing to optimize and comply with BCD M&E's profitability goals. - Maintain a good working relationship with current customer contacts, keeping accounts appraised of travel trends and updates within the industry - Assess opportunities to provide additional services that will support current programs and initiatives and grow account volume
You're good at: - Setting priorities, making quality decisions, and problem solving in a collaborative environment. - Storytelling - using the power of an engaging narrative to bring to life sports and entertainment solutions that are relevant and resonate with our customers and convert to new sales opportunities. - Exceptional client facing skills with the ability to own the room and convey confidence, excellent business acumen and professional presence at first impression and on-going. - Knowledgeable on emerging trends in the meetings, incentives, sports & entertainment sectors including destinations, event design, key sporting events, and technology (including mobile and attendee engagement) - Participate in key industry events, speaking engagements as an overall brand ambassador.
You might also have: - Bachelor's degree and minimum 5 years of business development or account management experience. - Our ideal candidate has solid experience the M&E industries.
You should know: - This role is virtual - Our standard working hours are 8:30 AM -5:30 PM with an hour break. - Covid vaccination might be required for this role.
