G2 Ops is seeking a full-time Mid to Senior Project Manager to join our G2 Ops team. As a part of the team, you will assist with coordinating projects across our various customers. You will work with all project team members to understand priorities, requirements, and timelines of all projects.
Project Manager Essential Functions:
Coordinates multiple aspects of a project in a fast-paced and challenging work environment.
Create and maintain project charters, action item trackers, project plans, communication plans and financial tracking.
Communicate effectively and timely with all teams, build relationships and feel comfortable interacting with all levels of stakeholders including senior leadership.
Manages Resource Allocation for employees across a portfolio of projects and tasking.
Develops and distributes detailed analytic reports to meet the needs of the following groups: Company Executives, program support personnel, program, project, and engineering managers.
Manages business process documentation and monitors the status and efficiency of these processes.
Coordinates with the Project Management team to support the full lifecycle of contract/project execution.
Supports the Project Management team in managing cost projections and personnel forecasting for a portfolio of active projects.
All other duties assigned.
Project Manager Requirements:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Upbeat and energetic individual with strong conflict resolution skills to resolve any team issues that may arise during the course of the project.
Work well within a team environment and have exceptional collaboration skills with all levels of business and technical staff.
Ability to work independently and willingness to take ownership of tasks and manage through completion.
Experience working in a project-based environment.
Mid. Project Manager Required Education/Years of Experience:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following fields: Business Analytics, Administration, Accounting/Finance, or related fields.
At least five years' experience working in a project management or accounting environment.
DoD Contracting and financial management experience a plus.
Mid. Project Manager Required Qualifications:
Ability to gain and maintain a government security clearance.
Mid. Project Manager Desired Qualifications:
Knowledge of and the ability to monitor, measure, and optimize individual and combined utilization of business processes, software, and systems.
Strong skills in the following areas: communication, organization, analysis, and development.
Individual must be flexible and able to adapt to a wide variety of tasking.
Project Management Institute (PMI) certification (PMP, CAPM).
