THE WORK
- Performing Board design activities for AEW programs and IRAD projects, these designs are dense, high-speed, multi-layer boards
- Development and communication of issues relating to material selection, impedance calculations, signal integrity, cross talk limits, differential pairs, PCB stack-ups, PCB via structures, etc. during the design phase, and generation and performance of reviews on the board artwork and drawings once the design is ready for fabrication and assembly
- Interface with Mechanical engineers, Suppliers, Component Engineering, Program Managers and Project team members as needed to develop cost effective high quality SWAP constrained products in both standard and custom form factors
- Supporting IPT teams, EPM and Program Office staff to meet all customer objectives

WHO YOU ARE
You will design, develop, test and support new Digital Receiver products in support of the Airborne Electronic Warfare (AEW) Business and larger Spectrum Convergence Organization.
This includes supporting architectural studies and requirements, preliminary and detailed design efforts on advanced state-of-the-art synthesizers, receivers, transmitters and direct conversion RFSoC's for use on miniaturized EW applications.
Applicant should have experience with Digital Board Design, Digital Signal Processing and Laboratory test equipment including practical experience with network analyzers, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers.
Applicant should also be well versed in digital transformation activities including modeling and simulation of digital circuits and systems.

Basic Qualifications:
Candidate must possess a minimum of 5+ years of direct and extensive experience in Digital Board Design.
Experience in Digital Signal Processing
Experience with High density PCB design that includes Power, Digital, and Analog layouts
Familiarity with MS Office applications.
Ability to obtain a secret clearance.
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of FPGA operation, ADC & DAC along with RFSoC Direct Conversion
Experience using Hyperlinx Signal Integrity modelling tools
Experience working with open standards (CMOSS, SOSA, OpenVPX)
Knowledge of Zuken schematic design and board routing tools
Experience with miniature EW Electronics
Computer Engineering / Electrical Engineering Expertise
Strong organizational and communication skills.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $100,400 - $192,500 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $115,500 - $217,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
