We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Operations Manager to lead our DLP initiatives and safeguard sensitive information across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information security, risk management, and operational leadership, ensuring that our data protection strategies are effectively implemented and continuously improved.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive data loss prevention strategies aligned with organizational goals and compliance requirements. Continuously assess and enhance DLP policies, procedures, and technologies.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage the DLP operations team, fostering a culture of security awareness and responsibility. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure DLP initiatives are integrated into overall security practices.
Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies. Monitor and analyze data loss incidents, trends, and potential threats to inform proactive measures.
Implementation and Monitoring: Oversee the deployment and management of DLP technologies and tools (e.g., encryption, data masking, monitoring software). Monitor data flows and access controls to ensure compliance with DLP policies.
Incident Response: Lead investigations into data loss incidents and coordinate response efforts with relevant stakeholders. Develop and maintain incident response plans and ensure timely reporting to management.
Training and Awareness: Design and deliver training programs to educate employees on DLP policies and best practices. Promote a proactive security culture through awareness campaigns and workshops.
Reporting and Compliance: Prepare and present reports on DLP metrics, incidents, and compliance status to senior management. Ensure adherence to industry regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) related to data protection.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and six to eight years of experience in systems engineering or administration or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
Deep specialized and/or broad functional knowledge in applied enterprise information security technologies including but not limited to firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, network operating systems, identity management, database activity monitoring, encryption, content filtering, and Mainframe security
Previous experience in leading complex IT projects
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in data loss prevention, information security, or risk management.
Strong knowledge of DLP tools and technologies, as well as data protection regulations and standards.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE)
