We are looking for a Vendor Manager to interface between internal Apple Music Radio production teams and an external managed service audio production vendor. The individual in this role will be working on worldwide productions for the Apple Music platform, radio and original content. You will be the point of contact representing Apple communicating required production timelines and deliverables working in a fast paced environment. The role requires experience working with external partners, with a strong preference towards candidates that have managed vendor relationships previously.

  • Flexible, calm under pressure and able to hit multiple deadlines.

  • Ability to manage workload independently and effectively.

  • Broad knowledge of music and technology.

Description

This role will be the primary contact responsible for communications between Apple production teams and an external managed service audio production vendor completing deliverables under the required deadlines. Interface daily with an external vendor manager counterpart to facilitate the creation of work parts required to build high-quality broadcast ready audio. In addition to the facilitation of work parts, you will be responsible for evaluating deliverables against established KPIs. You will provide feedback and direction on overall content quality. - Enforce adherence to Apple Music Radio broadcast standards and requirements - Collaborate with Radio Operations team to ensure timely deliveries of digital assets for broadcast, audio on demand or podcast exhibition. - Conduct rigorous quality checks on all assets to ensure they meet the highest standards for delivery. - Create reports and score cards for external vendors. - Maintain and submit weekly internal reports for Senior and Executive leadership with status of all projects in production. - Traffic and troubleshoot feedback from producers to external vendor. - Ensure adherence to established taxonomy and ontology. - The role may have additional responsibilities.
