Job Description

The Operator Training Facilitator position will help Badger fulfill its mission of providing the Best Operators & Best Truck in the hydrovac industry. Reporting to the Manager of National Operations Training, the Operator Training Facilitator will design, develop, deliver and evaluate competency-based training curriculum to the Operator work group. This position will require 100% travel and will have variable hours.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on, classroom and online training programs utilizing adult learning principles and group facilitation skills.
• Administer knowledge and competency based evaluations. Identify areas of improvement and train to a competent level.
• Evaluate course content and training methods with an eye toward continuous improvement and learning effectiveness.
• Provide one-on-one and group hands-on hydrovac training, demonstrating a variety of hydrovac applications and dig conditions.
• Reclaim excavation test-site.
• Maintain trucks
• Manage the training to meet the schedule
• Assist in fostering a learning culture within the team and organization.
• Company point of contact to trainees, address issues as required.
• Track training completion.
• Order training material.
• Building Maintenance.
• Manage logistics.
• Participate in facilitation skills professional development activities on a periodic basis

• Other Duties as assigned

• Minimum one year working for Badger as an Operator Mentor.

• No at fault safety incidences.
• Deep knowledge of company, market, industry and applications.
• Exemplifies the Badger Values.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with all levels of employees across the company.
• Ability to manage the learning environment.
• Ability to lead and facilitate groups while demonstrating effective presentation and listening skills.
• Will be required to successfully complete pre-employment screening, which includes criminal background check, credit check and drug and alcohol test. We also require supervisory references and education verification.
