Overview
Responsibilities
Performs Contract Compliance activity with a focus on Public Sector customers, representing potentially high risk to the business unit. Contract activity may be non-routine and require development and maintenance of specialized contract vehicles, matrices, reporting, and techniques to accomplish business goals and objectives and ensure contract compliance among a book of business with high visibility and co-dependencies. Generally, involves independent judgment and analysis of significant issue identification and resolution. May require development, communication and implementation of new policies and processes or assessment of required deviations from established norm. Influences peer group of DSM's; however, this position has ultimate authority for contract related decisions over the DSM role specific to their public sector business. Requires significant ability to influence senior corporate management, Cross-functional departmental directors; external senior Federal / State Contracting Officers, customer/supplier executive management; public agency executives, etc. to drive necessary actions for contract compliance or contract remediation efforts.

Candidates must possess:
Working to excellent knowledge of Public Sector policies and procedures, coupled with ability to identify required improvements to established policies and to communicate implementation procedures to others. Excellent skill with organizing and analyzing large quantities of data. Capability to explain the significance of analytics and findings to support desired actions.
Strong to excellent analytical skills.
Use of independent judgment and creativity applied to resolution of contract/bid issues.
Excellent internal and external negotiation skills.
Ability to mentor and train all levels of sales professionals to identify and develop contract skills in assigned function.
Emerging ability to excel in executive level management environment.
Ability to work with minimal supervision
