Job Description

Do you like working on a great team? JMT Technology Group, a leading geospatial and software development solutions provider, is looking for an experienced and energetic project assistant to support the administrative needs of the team. The project assistant will collaborate with our CIO, project directors and managers, business development staff, marketing staff, and subject matter experts throughout JMT to be an integral part of the overall success and growth of the group. We are looking for someone who has an eye for detail, the ability to form and maintain relationships, and enthusiasm to be a part of our amazing team!

Essential functions and responsibilities

  • Set-up projects and budgets in accounting systems

  • Prepare and organize client contracts and sub-agreements using appropriate systems and monitoring workflow of its execution

  • Track and monitor sub-consultant budgets and payment

  • Coordinate monthly billing between project manager and accountants

  • Assist project managers with progress reports and invoices for submittal to client

  • Provide assistance with reviews of proposals

  • Help manage relationships with vendors and clients

  • Index and input files into company's electronic document management system

  • Provide administrative support to the CIO and Directors

  • Coordinate office events and meetings

  • Coordinate team meetings, training events, and conferences

  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft ExcelR, Word R, and PowerPoint

  • Proficiency with SharePoint Collaboration tools

  • Binding, collating, and similar duties

  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of Microsoft ProjectR

Required Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 5+ years of administrative experience

Preferred Experience

  • Associates Degree in Business Administration or related field

    Working Conditions

    JMT offers a flexible working environment with a hybrid in office/at home work mix. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.
