Description: What You Will Be Doing
Selected candidate will lead the team in fleet management integration and forward planning efforts of the diverse sustainment operations teams responsible for overall fleet operations. This person will define short and long-term customer operational sustainment requirements to ensure the sustainment elements, decision points, and technical tenets are aligned with program execution strategy and goals.
Selected candidate is accountable to ensure individual fleets are optimized with regard to individual modifications, readiness, and efficiencies. Responsible for working with the individual, global fleets and respective customers to ensure the sustainment elements needed to support program requirements are in place and operating. Works with multiple technical teams to help resolve complex technical issues and conflicts by analyzing field performance data and coordinating recommended solutions to program needs.

Basic Qualifications:
. Ten years' experience in one or more of the
following areas: Air Vehicle Sustainment, Fleet
Management, Field Service Support,
Comparative Analysis, Business Case Analyses,
or Logistics Operations
. Experience with MS Office products (Word,
Excel, PowerPoint) and experience manipulating
large data sets (Pivot tables, VBA Macros,
Tableau, SAS, and/or Business Intelligence)
Desired Skills:
. Strong Customer Relations Skills
. In-depth knowledge of problem analysis
techniques and decision tool application (e.g.,
root cause analysis, analysis of alternatives and
forecasting)
. Advanced program/project planning and execution skills.
. Ability to work jointly with customers and teammates to identify solutions that meet the needs of multiple stakeholders
. Experience working with a military customer
base, including international military customers
. Ability to direct technical trade studies and interpret modeling results suitable for data driven decisions
. Hands-on technical field and/or in-plant experience on military fighter aircraft
. Reliability / maintainability experience
. Strong Written and Verbal Communication skills.
. Must be willing to mentor junior-level team members

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
