SAIC is seeking a Senior Logistics Analyst and Configuration Manager for a contingent opportunity in Hanahan, SC .
This role will support the Marine Corps Air Defense Integrated System Increment 2 Counter-Unmanned Aerial System Engagement System (MADIS CES).
This position is contingent upon award news in Sept/Oct of 2024.
Logistics Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs life cycle maintenance and integrated product support (IPS) of major systems.
Controls the efficient flow of goods, services and information between points of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements.
May also plan, schedule and manage the efficient movement of material from receiving or the warehouse to production, Manufacturing Orders/Work Orders, inventory monitoring. Develops raw material requirements, scheduling requirements from engineering specifications, production schedules, and plans and manages material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production.
Ensures the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistic processes.
Logistics functions encompass maintenance, supply, transportation and logistics plans.
Inherently included as logistics tasks are program formulation, policy planning, coordination, inspection, integrated logistics processes, joint planning logistics, acquisition and wholesale logistics, product support, asset visibility, material management and supervision.
CM Duties and Responsibilities:
Additionally is responsible for supporting product design changes and the effects of the overall system.
Assist in documenting and tracking all aspects of system development and modifications, configurations, risks, changes and impacts.
Ensures configuration identification by reviewing design release documents for completeness and proper authorizations.
Prepares deviations and waivers for approval when specifications cannot be met.
Reviews all issued document change requests, document change notices and associated drawings for accuracy, completeness and proper signatures.
May structure and maintain databases.
Submits engineering changes to for review and approval; maintains records and submit reports regarding status.
Prepares configuration verification audit record sheets for all assigned programs.
Qualifications
Position requirements:
Active Secret security clearance.
US Citizenship.
Bachelor's degree and ten (10) years of related experience to the duties above, additional years of experience will be accepted in lieu of degree.
Must be willing to work on site with 10% CONUS travel.
