Job Description

Badger Daylighting Corp is looking for a Certified Payroll Specialist based out of the Brownsburg, IN office. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, this position will be responsible for processing Certified payroll documents, certain job-related compliance documents and other payroll reporting. The position will work closely with Operations & Payroll.

• Leads the preparation of correspondence, reports and specialized compliance documents related to payroll.
• Provide support on payroll projects & union audits
• Process weekly/monthly OCIP reports
• Development of training programs in relation to Payroll processes and procedures.

• Additional duties as assigned

• Background in payroll and or accounting

• High energy and ability to multi-task with accuracy and timeliness
• Process-driven with an aptitude for change
• Detail oriented
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Must possess a high level of professionalism and maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.
• Must be detail oriented and have an excellent ability to focus on the task on hand.
• Must have the ability to meet deadlines with accurate work.
• Ability to solve practical problems and address variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• Must possess tenacity, eagerness to learn and communication skills to ensure union issues are handled properly
• Strong organization skills, the ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced office setting.

Candidates will be required to successfully complete pre-employment screening, which includes criminal background check, credit check and drug and alcohol test. We also require supervisory references and education verification.
