Job Description :
Jefferson Wells is seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to manage a diverse portfolio of projects in the governmental sector. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively. While experience in the government sector is a plus, it is not mandatory. Candidates must be proficient in MS Office, and experience with Yardi software is a bonus but not required.
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee and manage multiple projects of varying complexity, ensuring they remain on schedule and within budget.
Create and manage Requests for Proposals (RFPs), review submitted proposals, and provide recommendations.
Draft legal documents, financial Pro Formas, and project-related budgets.
Organize meetings, including scheduling, reserving space, preparing materials, and ordering food.
Develop meeting notes and provide status updates to senior management.
Ensure proper documentation is maintained for all project activities.
Create and submit purchase requisitions as needed.
Keep senior management informed on project progress and any potential risks or delays.
Qualifications :
Strong project management skills with the ability to handle a wide range of tasks.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with Yardi software (preferred but not mandatory).
Government sector experience (nice to have, but not required).
Ability to work independently, demonstrating honesty and integrity in all tasks.
Additional Information :
This is a contract role based in Detroit, MI. The candidate will work closely with the COO and senior management to ensure successful project execution.
Hourly rate : $65-75/hr. W2 depending on experience
