THE TEAM
The Corporate Finance, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team handles financial operations and is responsible for delivering Global forecast, planning and management reporting. We partner with and support Ticketmaster leaders by providing actionable financial insights to influence business strategy and decisions.
THE JOB
The FP&A Director is a key strategic Global Finance role responsible for setting business expectations and delivering financial results to the CFO, COO and President of Ticketmaster and the finance executives of our parent Live Nation Entertainment. This is a new role reporting to the VP, Corporate F&PA that will lead a team of 4 direct and indirect reports to own North America FP&A as well as integrate results from finance partners across the business into meaningful Global reporting and analysis.
The ideal candidate possesses excellent quantitative, written and verbal skills and has the proven ability to present financial information in a concise & meaningful manner. The candidate must be able to translate detailed, interrelated financial information to various audiences, identifying business drivers and their ultimate outcomes.
It will be important to proactively build relationships within the team and across departments, as a trusted and reliable source of information and support. Reporting to Ticketmaster's VP of Corporate FP&A, the FP&A Director will work closely with peers in Finance and strategic partners across the company to incorporate real-time data into budgets and forecasts.
What you will be doing:
Guide the senior leadership team in financial decision-making, identifying growth opportunities, and mitigating risks
Own the strategic narrative for executive reports, ensuring alignment of financial results and key metrics with corporate strategy and growth objectives
Partner with VP and CFO to identify misunderstood parts of the business and design effective analysis across short-, medium- and long-term time horizons
Design effective global reporting, incorporating feedback from finance partners across the business/world to identify common themes and counterbalancing impacts
Analyze business results to find data points that are reliable indicators of future performance, continually exploring data to challenge assumptions and clarify our understanding of financial relationships
Present results of analysis through compelling storytelling that focuses on root causes, implications and resolutions
Lead the annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting processes, effectively blending historical results with recent trends and product mix into well-reasoned expectations
Partner with leaders across finance & accounting department to continuously improve financial operating environment
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop new metrics to track progress towards strategic goals
Develop dashboards around core business activity that highlights the extent of the impact across the organization
Experience in entertainment industry is an asset

What you need to know (Technical Skills / Competencies)
10+ years related work experience, preferably proven success in financial planning & analysis at a large / complex organization
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Natural financial literacy with the ability to distill complicated concepts and models into actionable plans to update routinely
Flexible communication skills that allow you to understand & explain complex relationships within financial data, while condensing to core factors in plain English for those outside Finance
Advanced MS Excel skills, proficient PowerPoint user with experience with BI tools (e.g. OneStream, DOMO, Oracle and SAP)
CPA, MBA or other professional designation is a plus
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance

The expected compensation for this position is:
$160,000.00 USD - $200,000.00 USD
** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
