Position Overview:
Ensures adherence to agreed production standards and procedures and leads all manufacturing staff related to a production line/section or production shift.
Ensures adherence to defined manufacturing guidelines, processes and procedures.
Supervises production activities according to established quality standards and EHS requirements.
Contributes to production planning processes and determines manufacturing priorities based on established weekly production schedules.
Makes daily assignments and assigns work and tasks to the member of the production group.
Interprets specifications and makes judgments about the acceptability of production that is in process.
Drives and proposes procedure improvements and implements technical infrastructure.
Leads and supervises assigned Production Technicians, Coordinators and Operators.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Oversees assigned (parts of) procedures/processes in a production environment.
Plans and prioritizes processes and measures in operations, typically managing related working groups. Work routines are very clear, and so are relevant EHS guidelines. However, problems may occur and then need to be solved.
In production: Full scope line in one shift or in one production sequence across shifts, regular overseeing a week up to a month forecast period. Group size ranks typically from 20 up to 35 (semi-) skilled and trained operators.
In technical service or customer related services: Usual setup is a small team of vocationally trained and experienced employees, occupied in executing related processes and tasks, in a functional work group of 3 to 10 employees.
Primarily intra-organizational contacts and limited external contacts.
To thrive in this role, you have:
5+ years of experience
Both advanced practical and theoretical understanding and some significant advanced vocational experience is required to oversee and manage the diverse and relatively complex tasks in the related field of work.
Advanced understanding of how to direct, monitor, supervise qualified workforce (assistants and specialists) in a working team environment.

The base salary range for this position in Marion, KY is $89,300 - $105,000. The salary may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications. The annual incentive target is 5% of the base salary.
