Description
Responsibilities include: - Writing sharp and compelling copy in the Apple News voice, working with editors to ensure that work meets all aspects of our house style. - Identifying stories and trends in the cultural zeitgeist across a variety of beats. - Providing context around complex news stories, often on tight deadlines. - Communicating directly with our publisher partners. - Using data and analytics to responsibly incorporate user behavior into your editorial strategy. - Working cross-functionally to support News projects and goals. - Surfacing bugs and other performance issues.
Minimum Qualifications
Excellent writing skills and strong news judgment.
Four years of experience in a fast-paced media role, preferably in a newsroom environment.
Comfortable working across teams and incorporating feedback seamlessly into your work.
Fluency with a variety of CMSs.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $113,000 and $170,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
