Job Summary:
THE ROLE:
Interacts with guests to provide information about products and services, handle and resolve guest complaints, as well as actively selling ancillary products at a booth during events and maintaining sales records.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
Deliver exemplary customer service to maintain customer loyalty
Answer in person inquiries and report customer concerns
Inventory, transport, display and monitor ancillary products for sale, operate hand-held sales equipment for card transactions and maintain accurate sales records
Adapt to customer needs ensuring that they are understood, and appropriate action is taken to meet and exceed their expectations
Refer unresolved customer grievances to the appropriate supervisors for further investigation/action
Keep records of customer interactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as action taken
Participate in the venue's sustainability program
Partner with fellow crew members at the end of show to close the venue - this may include collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved section, picking up and properly storing event equipment such as lawn chairs, barricade, etc.
Collect lost & found items, reunite them with guests as needed and store guests' unclaimed personal items
Other tasks as assigned by the Ancillary Sales, Operations or General Manager
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must present unexpired original document(s) establishing identity and authorization to work in the United States
A clear pre-employment criminal background check is required
Previous customer service experience is a plus!
Acute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacy
Strong strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
A strong sense of teamwork
Position requires prolonged periods of sitting, bending over, lifting 25+ pounds and walking outdoors, in a variety of weather conditions (reasonable accommodations can be made)
Must attend employee orientation and complete required online training modules
