Let's talk salary. The salary range for this position based on what we are asking you to do in the role starts at $60,000 and goes up to $108,000 based on qualifications. We'd like to start somewhere in that ballpark and go from there. Due to the classification level of the projects we support, we are not able to offer fully remote opportunities at this time. As a Defense Contractor, we are frequently working with sensitive material, and therefore, we need to ensure where you access your work is secure. You will have your own new, shiny desk at one of our G2 Ops offices, plus the occasional opportunity to work on-site directly with our customers (this is a good thing!). We do allow teleworking with prior IT Department and manager approval. This exciting position will work directly with our government customer in a highly dynamic and complex environment. You will help drive their efforts in Knowledge Management facilitating Digital Transformation. Being a self-starter, quick learner, and passionate about the needs of our customer is a number one priority. The fun doesn't stop there! Having experience in managing requirements, schedules and complex budgets will help ensure you are successful.
What does this mean to you? We need someone to hit the ground running in the customers' environment. This means knowledge and understanding of Flankspeed, DON processes, DON vernacular is as important as being highly organized, detail oriented, ability to run several efforts at once, strong oral and written communication skills, project management skills, process development and improvement, team oriented, and the ability to leverage the Microsoft Office 365 suite.
Lastly, as we are working for the DoD, we are beholden to some requirements. The ideal candidate would already possess an active DoD SECRET clearance and while not a requirement initially, have a CERTIFICATION from PMI or in ITIL.
