PRACTICE SPECIFICS
We are a regional Emergency Medicine practice. The primary site for covering shifts is at St. Mary's Medical Center on our downtown campus, in Duluth, MN. There is an expectation that one would help cover shifts at our regional Emergency Departments which include: Moose Lake, MN, Sandstone, MN, Deer River, MN, Virginia, MN, Aurora, MN and Superior, WI. The breakdown is approximately a 50/50 split between Duluth and the regional sites.

24-hour coverage; 9-hour shifts; double coverage 19/24 hours with some triple coverage
NP/PA coverage weekdays and weekends
Admit to St. Mary's Medical Center; 330-bed hospital and Level I Adult and Level II Peds Trauma Center
Adjacent Fast Track minor care area staffed by NP/PAs
23-bed ED including 6-bed pediatric ED

Annual ED volume: 5,800 patient visits per year
24 hour coverage; 12 or 24 hour shifts
