GENERAL FUNCTION
Manage the go-to-market, implementation and on-going operation of business and solution designs and enhanced capabilities that enable of emerging market needs and enterprise strategies. Key work activities include building inventories of business capabilities required across EyeMed, building and managing comprehensive project plans for cross-functional efforts, developing end-to-end business design blueprints and process flows, performing impact assessment across affected teams, evaluating solution options in close partnership with IT subject matter experts and defining end-to-end user acceptance test strategies and plans. Manage recurring governance processes focused on monitoring progress of key business design initiatives in a timely and transparent manner.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Partners with leadership to identify opportunities to enhance offerings and drive efficiencies through cross-functional and enterprise-wide solutions.
Defines delivery methodology and project plans that outline the overall approach, key activities and deliverables produced during business design engagements.
Leads end-to-end project management of initiatives, tracking projects from inception to completion, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met
Leads day-to-day management of initiatives including but not limited to development, operationalization, exception management, issue resolution, organizational feasibility checks, and results tracking
Works directly with internal functional areas to document and develop requirements to build and enhance product capabilities
Partners closely with sales and account management teams to understand the selling process to assist in product optimization initiatives
Defines and mobilize a governance model to monitor progress, issues and risks across business design engagements.
Establishes an overarching set of principles that promote asset re-use, out of the box functionality and standardization to guide design activities.
Creates and / or facilitates creation of key business design deliverables (e.g., capability inventories, business blueprints, impact assessments and end-to-end test plans) and facilitates appropriate review with cross-functional leaders.
Partners with IT subject matter experts to conceive solution options once overall business design has been established.
Supports budget management process for product initiatives
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
8+ years business experience
Experience managing designing operational solutions to support business strategies
Experience representing the business in standard development lifecycle phases (e.g., requirements, design, build, test, deploy)
Strong written and oral communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
MBA
Experience developing executive level presentations
Experience with large management consulting firms
Experience in the healthcare industry
