GENERAL FUNCTION:
This role is responsible for process improvement and successful adoption of new products and technology. This position supports innovation within Pearle Vision and leads the implementation of initiatives. Leads cross-functional teams on improvement projects and ensures projects are scalable and ready for field execution. Works with EssilorLuxottica partners in Lens COE, Eyecare, Rx Operations, and other areas of the business to understand availability of new products and processes.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creates and executes on project plans for launch.
Identifies innovation touch points and communicates with Pearle Vision field leaders
Applies knowledge and experience to identify project risks, and develop/evaluate alternative solutions to drive positive project outcomes
Partners with senior management to develop and lead strategies that support optimizing the lens/lab supply chain and foster lab penetration
Ensures field and cross functional feedback on all initiatives is captured and incorporated for process improvement.
Owns all innovation materials on Store 360 - development, communication, and content maintenance/updates
Builds and fosters collaborative relationships with brand team members, field leadership and other optical departments, remaining informed of new initiatives/business processes
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
7+ years of experience
Proven ability to explore and lead in unchartered areas - innovative in seeking new ways of looking at issues
Sound project management methodology understanding and practices
Cross Functional Team Leadership
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
Ability to travel independently (
Proficient in Microsoft Office software programs
Strong independent problem-solving skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in identifying and executing steps necessary to launch new innovation
Experience in conducting project pilots and evaluating results
Basic understanding of business reporting and results
