Responsible for the scheduling of appointments, procedures, tests, and/or other appointments pertinent to the department in an efficient manner while maintaining client and staff satisfaction. Obtains all necessary information from the physician and/or office staff to make appropriate arrangements. Responsible for communications within and across departments to ensure the most efficient response for patients. Performs miscellaneous clerical, clinical secretary, and registration functions as needed. Work Experience: Minimum 1 year of office or scheduling experience. Working knowledge of medical terminology.

Completion of Healthcare Business Insight's Patient Access 2nd Level Certification Program within six months of hire date .
