CACI is seeking a TS/SCI cleared Enterprise Systems Engineering Manager to support our Air Force customers in Hampton, VA and Warner Robins, GA. This position will be a part of our Enterprise Product Support (EPS) team for AF DCGS. You will manage a team of Enterprise Systems Engineers and be able to translate bi-directionally between low level technical detail and the needs and requirements of leadership. You will have an in-depth knowledge of engineering processes, disciplines, systems, architectures, etc., to enable the team to analyze, explore, and create cross-functional engineering services and products in a manner that promotes cohesion across the enterprise and that boosts productivity, reduces waste, and reduces risk. The team will develop and use tools and processes to collect, correlate, and assess capacity metrics (CPUs, Memory, Storage, Bandwidth) to provide analysis of high-level integration issues and evaluate technical impacts of new and existing requirements. The team will use state of the art tools across virtual systems, edge nodes, private clouds, and the enterprise in support of AF DCGS sustainment and evolving needs. The team will review technical documentation, examine processes and standards, and provide engineering input and feedback as required. You will encourage the team to constantly brainstorm new ideas and practical solutions that will make positive impacts to the enterprise for the benefit of the warfighter. You will be responsible for the team's overall performance.
What You'll Get to Do:
Work with leadership and managers across the enterprise to seek out engineering solutions to reduce risk, improve efficiencies, exploit inherent capabilities, and create synergies.
Manage and guide the team to create or modify custom queries on existing tools to support metric discovery from devices (with and without agents).
Oversee and guide team efforts to generate, update, and maintain capacity data in sustainment engineering documentation and facilitate the generation of the monthly capacity report.
Manage and guide the team to conduct and support directives from Integrated Sustainment Planning, to recommend and address deficiencies for enabling deployment, operations and support, and decommissioning phases of the weapon system life cycle.
Manage and guide the team to develop and implement solutions for maximizing AF DCGS asset management tool to support baseline Configuration Management.
Oversee and guide the team to innovate with existing tools and processes across systems and teams for the benefit of increasing efficiencies and quality and be continuously forward thinking.
Oversee and guide team to provide engineering assessment of technical documentation, including architectures, capacity metrics, design descriptions, flow diagrams, requirements, security assessments, Software Design Descriptions (SWDDs), and solutions.
Manage and guide the team to provide capacity management metrics at various levels of granularity that drive provisioning decisions for virtual machines, memory, and storage.
Oversee and guide team to support CM management of the CAB/CCB process and entry criteria, facilitating compliance and rapid movement through the change process and adherence to the Configuration Management Plan.
Manage and guide the team to translate complex engineering detail into various levels of understanding that range from top leadership views to very technical detail useful for developers and design engineers.
Manage and guide the team to organize and coordinate local engineering and technical management activities.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI security clearance.
Bachelor of Science Degree relevant to this position.
Master of Science Degree relevant to this position.
10+ years of experience managing engineers, technicians, and technical projects.
15+ years of experience with engineering standards, processes, and best practices.
Good writing skills and ability to articulate at management and technical levels.
Knowledgeable of virtual infrastructures to include compute and storage resources, virtual machines (VMs), and networking.
Security Plus Certification.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Basic understanding of databases, software programming, scripting, and SQL queries.
Experience with Elastic, Eracent, vROps, and VMWare virtual infrastructures.
Experience with Power Point presentations, graphs, and charts.
Experience with Excel spreadsheets (such as formatting, formulas, sub-totals, and graphs).
Experience with systems that are comprised of virtual components within on-premises or external cloud systems.
Specific knowledge of AF DCGS life cycle.

$89,500-$188,000
