As aReplenishment Program CoordinatoratBatteries Plus, you are responsible for the systematic management of the inventory and sales of available products to increase sales, minimize losses and drive by forecasting the future trends to better position stores. TheReplenishment Program Coordinatoris also responsible for the rollout of planning as a service to our franchisees.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop monthly sales and inventory forecasts through management tools and demand forecasting to meet company goals

  • Plan & forecast for future merchandise buys based on historical buys, recurring buys and current inventory levels, including managing Open To Buy budgets

  • Measure inventory levels and service performance through established KPIs

  • Review stock to sales ratios, respond to changing sales trends and ensure plan sales, plan markups and plan markdowns are achieves by department

  • Establish, maintain and predict the exact demand and ensure the products are delivered on time, avoiding shortages at the distributor or warehouse level and instituting effective strategic plans for profitable liquidation

  • Allocate merchandise to stores according to warehouse and store inventory levels and assist stores with merchandise transfers to fulfill stock needs

  • Construct pre-season style plans and suggest flow forecasts and investment quantities

  • Develop business plans and identify new opportunities by partnering with business leaders

    Program Management

  • Assist in developing planning as a service program

  • Coordinate with stores and planners to schedule the onboarding process

  • Train the stores on using the collaboration portal and be the liaison between stores and the planner group

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Retail/Merchandising or equivalent

  • 5+ years related experience in Retail, Merchandise Planning and/or Inventory Planning

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge and use of forecasting tools

  • Extensive excel skills; statistical analysis a plus

  • Proven ability to make presentations
