Description
SAIC is seeking a motivated, dedicated and energetic Senior Program Control Analyst (PCA) to support programs within SAIC's Defense Business Group. The position will report to the Program Control Manager and candidates should have proven experience across financial planning and analysis, project planning and control, variance analysis, and a background in Federal procurement.
This position is 100% remote nationwide.
Typical Responsibilities:
. Interface with program managers, SAIC's finance, accounting, contracts, subcontracts, and procurement organizations, as well as external customers on a daily basis to address operational issues in a timely and effective manner
. Support cash flow improvement initiatives by maintaining detailed, complex invoice backup reports that drive customer invoice approvals
. Preparation of financial deliverables and internal/external reports to include invoicing backup
. Support development of Annual Operating Plan (AOP), quarterly forecasts, monthly latest revised estimates (LREs), and Estimates At Complete (EACs)
. Participate in the development of budgets (spend plans) for assigned programs and perform financial analysis on funding profiles and program financial variances
. Conducts cost, schedule, and contract performance variance analysis
. Submit and maintain purchase requisitions for subcontractors, consultants, and materials; monitoring subcontractor's cost and review/approve of invoices
. Support other programmatic ad hoc requests, as needed.
Qualifications
Required Education & Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in a Finance, Accounting or Business Administration discipline with six (6) years or more of relevant experience in federal government contracting, or Master's Degree and four (4) years of experiencs
U.S. Citizenship required
Must be able to obtain Secret clearance
Highly proficient in multiple program types (CPAF, CPFF, LOE, FPLOE, FFP, T&M, IDIQs, etc.)
Must be well versed in MS tools (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint etc.) to include advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUPS, and pivot tables
Candidates must possess an understanding of financial management as it relates to funding, revenue, cost, profit, Accounts Receivable, subcontracts and purchase orders.
Must be analytical, possess excellent communication, presentation skills and have the ability to work independently and as a member of a team
Must be experienced working in a fast-paced environment where multiple projects and deliverables are being worked simultaneously.
Ability to communicate effectively and meet deadlines
Ability to organize in order to effectively manage action items.
Ability to prioritize and work with supervision, be persistent in follow-through
Must be able to multi-task and support program with efficiency and accuracy
