Job Description:

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Corporate Travel Specialist to join our Corporate Travel team. Reporting to the Corporate Travel Manager, this individual supports the company's travel and corporate credit card program and delivers the highest value for the firm's travel spend, assists in negotiating contracts while leveraging volume pricing, supplier incentives and value-added services.

- Travel Management: This role will often be the first point of contact for travelers when experiencing travel issues domestically and internationally. This person is responsible for researching, resolving, and escalating issues when needed to improve the travel experience for employees.

- Corporate Card Program Administration: Manage daily tasks of the corporate card program (American Express), card applications, program assistance, managing American Express @work portal.

- Meeting & Events: Collaborate cross-organizationally with other employees to create a successful, engaging, smooth meeting or event.

- Employee Engagement: Provide engaging training and documents to employees on travel program and policies. The right candidate will promote a culture of collaboration, and innovative learning to empower employees to use CDM Smith's travel tools, and corporate card program.

- Travel Reporting: Analyze travel and expense data using Concur and Vendor Reporting tools to boost program efficiency and compliance to the travel policy.

- Intranet Site Management: Design creative educational posts based on corporate policy, and travel industry news for Intranet Pages (Insite and Yammer) keeping content updated, and useful for travelers.

- Vendor Management: The right candidate will be able to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with vendors, including airlines, hotels, car rental companies, travel agencies, and venues. Negotiating contracts and agreements with vendors to leverage discounts for CDM Smith's travel program. Collaborating with vendors to streamline our travel program and offer benefits to employees.

Individual will be required to be in office 2 days a week.

Minimum Qualifications:

- High School diploma or equivalent.

- 4 years of related experience.

- Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.

Skills and Abilities:

- Excellent communication, customer service and project management skills.

- Ability to multitask and effectively manage priorities.

- Advanced understanding of processes and technology relating to travel industry components (air/hotel/car/meetings, etc.).

- Ability to work well with all levels within the organization.

- Demonstrated proficiency with travel and credit card program applications (i.e., Concur) and the Microsoft suite of products.

- Experience in sourcing venues, logistics, and negotiating contracts for company events.

Background Check and Drug Testing Information:

CDM Smith Inc. and its divisions and subsidiaries (hereafter collectively referred to as -CDM Smith-) reserves the right to require background checks including criminal, employment, education, licensure, etc. as well as credit and motor vehicle when applicable for certain positions. Additional Compensation:

All bonuses at CDM Smith are discretionary and may or may not apply to this position.
