T-Mobile has an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Counsel role. This role will represent the organization on legal matters as assigned. Responsible for preparing supporting documents such as briefs, contracts, patent applications, and filings. Provide counsel to managers on legal matters impacting managers' areas of responsibility.

What you'll do in your role.

We are looking for a motivated, critical thinking attorney to join our Team. Our Team supports the T-Mobile procurement and engineering groups that design, build, operate, power and support our Network. If you enjoy complex transaction work with a genuine interest in technology, and are technically inclined, with precise drafting skills and a willingness to learn and perfect complex technology transactions, then this Corporate Counsel position may be for you. It's a plus if you have either a working knowledge of and interest in computer and telecommunications technology, or a strong desire to learn how T-Mobile designs, builds, operates, powers and supports the 5G network of the future.

What you'll do in your role:

  • Be part of a Team that provides day-to-day legal advice, drafts a variety of transaction related documents, manages resolution of legal disputes in the context of T-Mobile network-related issues.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor for the Network procurement and engineering organizations.

  • Support business negotiations and draft associated agreements for complex network procurement transactions.

  • Effectively and efficiently work with other in-house subject matter experts, legal teams, outside legal counsel to advise leadership and solve problems.

  • Combine your interest in technology with a wide range of technology heavy transactions, including purchase agreements, intellectual property creation and licensing, Bring your experience with

The experience you'll bring:

  • 3-6 years' experience as a business attorney, preferably in-house and/or in a law firm, ideally working on commercial or regulatory aspects of wireless communications networks and technology transactions.

  • Experience working with procurement, supply chain, and/or other non-legal contract management organizations, preferable in the communications or another regulated industry.

  • Experience handling a high volume or high complexity of work with the ability to prioritize, work efficiently, meet demanding deadlines, and balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Quick learner with flexibility to take on matters in new areas.

  • Creative problem solver and results oriented.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Strong analytical, drafting, negotiation, and research skills.

  • Able to handle diverse projects in unrelated areas.

  • Ability to operate independently and effectively in a dynamic environment.

  • Ability to collaborate and team-up with other legal and business professionals in a complex organization with a focus on delivering results.

The experience you'll bring.

  • A U.S. law degree and admission to at least one state bar required.

  • Legally authorized to work in the US.

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills with a strong record of effective cross-group collaboration.

  • Ability to recognize and weigh business and legal risks, think strategically and advance creative, practical solutions in the face of ambiguity and imperfect information.

  • Client-oriented with a high comfort level working with demanding clients.

  • Excellent business judgment, and a proven ability to juggle multiple competing priorities.

  • T-Mobile requires all employees in this position to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to starting work. The CDC defines -fully vaccinated- as two weeks after the second dose for Pfizer and Moderna, and two weeks after the single dose of Johnson & Johnson. T-Mobile will require proof of vaccination and consider requests for exemption from this requirement during the offer phase as a reasonable accommodation for medical reasons or sincerely held religious beliefs where the accommodation would not cause T-Mobile undue hardship or pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others.
