ECPI's Director of Student Support Services (DSSS) will provide coordination, training, support services and development to campus-based Student Services and Student Success Coordinators.

Responsibilities

The Director of Student Support Services is responsible for ensuring quality of service to students and compliance with regulations. The DSSS will serve as the Title IX /Section 504 Coordinator and oversee Title IX compliance, ADA compliance, student mental health and financial hardship services, student grievance procedures, and coordination and documentation of University Academic and Judicial Review Boards.

The DSSS will lead initiatives to improve the student experience including but not limited to persistence, wellness, and diversity and inclusion. The DSSS will be responsible for developing and monitoring dashboards on key performance metrics related to student success.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Three to five years of increasingly responsible senior leadership experience in Student Services at a college or university.

  • Minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in student disability services in a post-secondary setting.

  • Bachelor's degree in education, administration, business, student affairs, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Evidence of strong supervisory and leadership skills, including strategic planning, assessment, and evaluation skills.

  • Knowledge of applicable databases and computer application systems to supply the most accurate information, reports, and projections.

  • Knowledge of state, federal, and local laws/regulations relating to programs, governmental compliance, and other regulatory standards such as Title IV, ADA, as well as SACS and other accreditation standards.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with students, colleagues and other stakeholders

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal; strong organizational skills; the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to work successfully with multiple demands, shifting priorities and a changing landscape.
