We are hiring a Resident Relations Director/ Human Resources Manager to support Park Plaza, a Kisco Senior Living community.
What will I do every day?
Assist in complying with human resources related company policies, as well as all applicable federal, state and local employment laws and regulations, in coordination with Home Office.
Manage and improve resident and family satisfaction and loyalty using a variety of listening and learning methods, process improvement, and the anticipation of and responsiveness to needs and concerns
Proactively identify and address resident issues, challenges and opportunities for operational improvements
Oversee a smooth and customer service-focused front desk operation while ensuring all community and regulatory required systems and information are available and up to date
Motivate and lead a high-performance Customer Service team
Ensure that all communication and notices required are provided in accordance to protocol and policy and procedure
Support the community sales process and work with the sales team to attract and retain residents
Support associates and managers regarding all human resources practices and programs
Assist hiring managers with posting of open positions, supervising all pre-employment screening and post-hire procedures
Coordinate, develop and implement associate training programs and maintain training records
Coordinate and support all appropriate associate termination procedures
Work with the Executive Director and Home Office to timely and appropriately address, investigate and resolve associate grievances and complaints
Monitor unemployment claims
Work with the Executive Director and Home Office to handle workers' compensation claims
Coordinate all leaves of absence in accordance with applicable policies and laws
What will I need to be successful in this role?
Bachelor's Degree
A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in customer service, guest relations, social worker, or similar role
Three years of Human Resources generalist experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience
A minimum of 2 years' supervisory experience
Ability to build effective teams, hire and develop people and have the courage to lean into difficult issues
Strong problem-solving skills for analyzing difficult situations and finding effective solutions
High competency in the use of multiple forms of technology, including: Microsoft Office applications, internet-based and custom applications
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays as needed
