THE ROLEInsomniac is looking for a Project Manager in visual communication (signage & wayfinding) to lead a team across all Insomniac Festivals. The Project Manager of Visual Communication will develop signage and messaging with the experience team to enhance the overall headliner experience. This position will report directly to the Director, Visual Communication.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works closely with operations staff and show producers to create overall festival signage & wayfinding plan

  • Communicates with internal and external stakeholders to gather needs for required signage

  • Responsible for communicating with print vendors to gauge bandwidth and pricing

  • Responsible for event Signage budget

  • Creates signage installation schedules

  • Upkeeps inventory and warehouse management system

  • Highly organized person with great attention to detail

  • Good understanding of printing processes

  • Ability to adapt to changes quickly

  • Strong team player and positive attitude

  • Basic understanding of handheld tools and hardware

  • Miscellaneous tasks and projects specified by Director, Visual Communication

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Basic understanding of festival operations is preferred

  • 4+ years industry related work preferred

  • Directional knowledge a plus

  • Fluent in Microsoft Office and Google Suite with emphasis in sheets

  • Basic photoshop experience required

  • Labor and team management experience is required

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments

  • May work in drastic temperature climates

  • Must be willing to work during evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines
