We are looking for a manager, partner resources, labor relations , who will be part of a dedicated cross-functional team to provide labor relations support to partners and our leaders throughout retail, manufacturing, and distribution. This role will provide expertise and decision-making support to local leaders and support teams in daily operations, campaigns, and at the bargaining table. They will also support contract implementation and interpretation, and all labor relations' processes to proactively uplift the partner experience across the organization by leading with dignity and respect for our partners, generating insights, leveraging analytics & data to generate insights, and acting as an advocate for all partners.

This is an incredible opportunity for a partner to work cross-functionally across the organization and directly with the local retail leadership team, driving labor relations strategy to uplift the partner experience while proactively supporting leadership in achieving excellence.

  • Knowledgeable of labor laws and labor relations processes including, collective bargaining, grievance processes, contract administration and labor management relationships.

  • Provides perspective and labor relations expertise on applicable operational and PRO policies and processes to best support the Retail Operating Model (consideration of the Partner, Customer and Business impact).

  • Leverages market experiences, data and insights to developstrategies and tactics in partnership with leadership, legal teams and PRO to uplift the partner experience whilereducing labor and operational risk.

  • Maintains composure through challenging experiences and demonstrates integrity and discretion at all times, includingat the bargaining table and in work disruptions.

  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams and leaders to remain current on alltools, resources, policies, procedures, laws and precedent, and standards to achieve operational excellence.

  • Demonstratesprofessional facilitation skills by delivering labor relations training to build leadership confidence and capability.

  • Ability to navigate technology - advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint) and virtual tools.

  • Knowledge of labor relations - understanding of or an ability to learn the labor and human resources related laws and regulations including but not limited to the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA), Title VII, ADA, ADAAA, ADEA, FMLA & state/local laws and ordinances.

Basic qualifications

  • Consultation with internal and external clients (3+ years)

  • Fast-paced environment (7+ years)

  • Ability to travel (currently estimated at 50%)

Preferred qualifications

  • Leadership experience (3+ years) or progressively responsible and equivalent experience including retail operations multi-unit management

  • Labor relations, human resources experience (3+ years) or ability to articulate perspective and influence through written communication skills to peers and leaders

  • Experience in contract writing and negotiating (1+ years)
