Congress Project Manager We're looking for a Congress Project Manager to join our dynamic team within our Life Sciences Division. In this client facing role, you will act as the event planning lead and project manager on all assigned Congress events. You will collaborate with peers, vendors, and meeting owners alike to ensure each Congress is executed flawlessly and compliantly. You keep projects running on time, on budget, within compliance guidelines and have mastered the art of managing multiple priorities and programs at once. Sound like you? Read on!

Your responsibilities - Act as the main point of contact for your client and team, and ensure all milestones are clearly communicated and met. Be consultative in your approach. Afterall, you are an expert in meetings management. - Build, monitor and maintain concise and accurate event budgets. Think outside of the box on creative cost savings and menu planning ideas to ensure we remain compliant. Negotiate vendor contracts and build long lasting partnerships. - Work with your Sourcing Manger to ensure compliant hotel accommodations are secured for each event. - Partner with your team to ensure clear and simple attendee communications are launched and align with the Congress communication plan. - Manage time and projects efficiently. Need to be flexible with hours to accommodate working with different teams, meeting owners and suppliers across the globe.

You're good at: - Communicating with clients, co-workers, and vendors. You convey confidence, are professional in written communications, have knowledge of best practices in events and a professional presence at first impression and on-going. - Managing multiple priorities and being adaptable. You have exceptional problem-solving skills, are forward thinking, solution oriented, calm under pressure and work well in a collaborative, multi-cultural environment. - Managing the complex world of Compliance, Financial Reconciliation, Budget Management and TOV reporting. - Cvent, Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. - Ideal candidate possesses 3+ years in a lead planner role in the Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences industry.

You might also have: - A college degree from a 4-year institution. - Ability to travel and be flexible with time.
