Work as a subject matter expert in partnership with Store Operations, Corporate, Manufacturing and Distribution to integrate Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) into all facets of work in a proactive way to prevent incidents and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and company policies. This role is responsible for translating legal requirements into comprehensive EHS programs, using industry accepted resources to bring EHS strategies to life and sustain compliance.

Proactively engage our employees, consultants, contractors, vendors and other business partners, ensuring they have the right tools and are following best methods tocreate, promote and foster a compliant EHSculture for all
Providementorship and coaching to EHS support teams
Partner Environmental Health and Safety knowledge with Operations to evaluate and conduct Job Hazard Analysis/Risk Assessments; create, document, and implement best methods, training programs, and job aids that educate and enhance EHS initiatives, prevent incidents, and achieve EHS compliance
Partner with operational leadership, Design/Engineering,Business Continuity, and other stakeholdersto provide resultsand guidance for various EHS initiatives, make recommendations for cross-functional solutions from integrated input from Store Operations, Corporate, Distribution and Manufacturing
Influence and teach others how to champion necessary change to enhance environmental compliance and human safety; measure results and developstrategic corrective actions, andguide or execute implementation across the Company
Partner with operations to ensure a systematic process to thoroughly investigate incidents, make connections, identify trends/opportunities, while making recommendations on how to respond proactively, influencing workflow, equipment, and the work environment to improve EHS while balancing people, service, and productivity needs
Complete special projects and assignments as needed.
Required Qualifications
5 or more years of leadership experience in the Environmental, Health and/or Safety field
Bachelor's degree in a related field or CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) Certification
Strong ability to maneuver through complex situations effectively while influencing appropriate stakeholders
