CACI is looking for a Director, Corporate Purchasing and Commodity Management. This position reports directly to the Senor Vice President of Supply Chain and Purchasing and will be responsible for developing and managing the strategic supplier agreements and relationships that will have bottom line impacts in supporting CACI's financial and program execution goals and objectives.

What You'll Get to Do:

  • Develop and manage company-wide procurement related policies and procedures.

  • Develop and lead the company's procurement strategy.

  • Develop, mentor, and manage a team of diversly located procurement professionals.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and align procurement strategies with overall global organizational goals.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.

  • Manage and negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions, including pricing, delivery schedules, and quality standards.

  • Participate in strategic proposal efforts, providing inputs that assist programs and the company in meeting it small business subcontract plan goals.

  • Make a significant impact on the financial performance of the businesses through the delivery of cost savings, working capital improvement, and supplier quality.

  • Develop and lead sourcing initiatives that optimize the supply base, achieve lowest total cost, and reduce sole/single source risk.

  • Drive improvements in sourcing process and performance through effective management operating systems

  • Play a critical role in developing employees and suppliers to help them perform at their best and drive change across the company.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing and executing the company strategic procurement plan by working across the business sectors, corporate staff, and supply chain, to understand and meet the overall business indirect and direct procurement needs.

  • Ensure alignment of procurement strategies with the company's business objectives

  • Lead sourcing transition initiatives to optimize the supply base and reduce risk.

  • Leading or participating in the company's supplier management processes, including supplier performance, critical supplier management, supplier metrics, international issues, Make/Buy strategy, strategic agreements, and communication of customer flow through requirements such as FAR/DFARS, ITAR, offset, public law, quality, warranty, etc.

  • Focusing on profitable growth. Applying a strong understanding of financial measures, including cost management strategies, budgeting, and forecasting.

  • Developing and leading procurement related proposal activities including the development of priced Bills of Materials and Basis of Estimates.

  • Ensuring CACI's procurement policies and procedures are CPSR compliant.

  • Supporting and executing supplier risk/opportunity plans to meet program objectives.

  • Developing, monitoring and proactively addressing performance and financial metrics including those related to cost, schedule, and quality.

  • Will work with SBLO and small business office to Identify and develop opportunities for small business participation.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, logistics, engineering, or related field.

  • Minimum of 12 years directly related work experience in Supply Chain Management or closely related field, preferably in the defense industry.

  • Strong supplier management, financial, contracting, sourcing and negotiating experience.

  • Requires a strong leader with demonstrated project management and critical thinking skills.

  • Proven track record of running similar sized procurement organizations.

  • Self-starter, capable of developing and achieving organizational and business objectives with the ability to successfully interface with all levels of corporate, sector and functional management through a combination of diplomacy and tact.

  • Experience leading a diverse team located at multiple sites across the US.

  • Expert level understanding of government regulations (i.e.: FAR / DFARS, ITAR / EAR, TINA, etc.) and commercial contracting terms and conditions.

  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems.

  • Must be able to obtain Top Secret clearance within one year of start date.

  • U.S. Citizenship is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.

  • Active Top-Secret clearance.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$107,800 - $237,000
