Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is looking for an engineer with design, integration, and test and evaluation experience in the areas of high power electromagnetics, analog circuits, pulsed power, and prime power systems. The candidate would be assigned to the Applied Research Directorate.
What You Will Be Doing
As a High Power Electromagnetics Senior Engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
-Working on pulsed power and high power electromagnetic systems and subsystems.
-Engaging with other Pulsed Power engineers, High Power Electromagnetic engineers, Integration and Test engineers, and mechanical packaging engineers.
-Working in a multidisciplinary environment and engage with experts in various fields.
Candidates filling this position will need a US citizen and will need a clearance at the level specified in -Clearance Level- or will need the ability to get a clearance if not specified. In addition to meeting security clearance requirements, candidate may need to be approved to work Special Access Program (SAP) prior to start of employment.

Basic Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in electrical engineering or related science field
- Experience with pulsed power and energy systems
- Experience with Matlab and full-wave simulation tools
- Ability to solve loosely defined and inherently unstructured problems
- Ability to work with geographically diverse teams
- Experience with University or Government Labs
Desired Skills:
- Doctoral degree or higher in an engineering or science field
- Understanding of all aspects of Electrical Engineering is desired
- Deep understanding of electromagnetics theory
- Data Analysis/Reduction/presentation with Matlab or similar tools
- Experience with rapid prototyping, system integration.
- Hands on experience with RF Test instrumentation (Spectrum Analyzers, Scopes, VNA, Power Meters etc)

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
