T-Mobile is America's supercharged Un-carrier, delivering an advanced 4G LTE and transformative nationwide 5G network that will offer reliable connectivity for all. Senior Engineers, Software located in Reston, Virginia will code, test, debug documents, and implement software applications.
What you'll do in your role.
Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Drive the full stack solution & software design/development of cost-effective information technology solutions by creating new and modifying existing software applications.
Define Integration point with upstream and downstream systems and the related flow.
Ensure software maintenance and testing which includes Root Cause Analysis and defect triaging.
Ensure Continuous Integration and Build is in place and being leveraged.
Translate business, and functional requirements into documented technical specifications or User Stories.
Interpret design, requirements, functionality, and limitations of systems/applications.
Utilize development skills to build (code) and unit test new systems functionality, with deliverables to include code builds and unit test results.
Develop and update support documentation as needed by the DevOps function and lead Peer Review to allow acceptance of systems changes into production.
Facilitate reviews (walkthroughs) or grooming sessions and demos of technical features and program code with other members of the technical team, communicating design, requirements, feature set, functionality and limitations of systems/applications to team and other engineers.
Utilize product lifecycle methodology as a guide for development activities.
Update the Technical/Business documentation including sequence diagrams, wiki and confluence pages.
Work with partner teams including Enterprise Testing, Upstream/downstream Application Teams, Product managers, Project Management, and Application Support to deliver product enhancements and support.
The experience you'll bring.
Skill requirements:
(1) Experience in Advanced Angular to develop new and existing Angular modules and functionalities within the existing architecture.
(2) Experience in coding Reactive Angular (NGRX) to handle user state across the application.
(3) Experience in Node.js framework to understand and develop within the complex UI middleware framework.
(4) Utilizing Amazon Web Services, GITLab, CI/CD Tools in order to develop project methodologies and processes within the organization.
(5) Developing and integrating web applications using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Software
Experience and education requirements:
PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related, and 3 years of relevant work experience.
ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related, and 5 years of relevant work experience.
