Job Description:
Job Profile Summary Responsible to facilitate the patient pre-encounter registration flow, including such activities as; gathering demographic information; insurance verification, identifying financial responsibilities, and sponsorship data; identifying and qualifying medical documentation; educates patient on coordination of coverage and other insurance issues; appropriately collecting co-payment over the phone. May also be responsible for benefit verification prior to services. Contacts patients and providers prior to services to ensure all information is accurate for scheduled service. Position requires a high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers and others. Work Experience: 1 year customer service experience. 1 year insurance experience within 5 years.
