What You'll Get to Do:
Seeking a Naval Architect reporting to our Washington, DC office to provide submarine stability and mass properties expertise.
More About the Role:
Analyze new ship and submarine concepts.
Develop training materials for submarine stability and mass properties topics.
Analyze elements or performance of ship or submarine designs using analytic tools, model scale and full scale testing, or prototyping as appropriate. Prepare reports of results and conclusions. Recommend and implement changes to designs based on conclusions.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Naval Architecture or Ocean Engineering
Ten or more years of experience in US Navy or USCG ship design or ocean engineering.
Ten or more years of experience analyzing stability and mass properties of US Navy submarines.
Strong organization and time management skills.
Good interpersonal skills to work with project teams and stakeholders.
Must be a US citizen.
Skills in Microsoft Office
Good written and verbal (English) communication skills.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$94,400 - $198,300
