Would you like to accelerate and maximize business value across AWS and Pan Amazon services for the world's most complex enterprise businesses? Do you have a track record of successfully defining and executing disruptive strategies for enterprise digital transformation journeys?
We are seeking a Cloud Transformation Strategist to join our Strategic Customer Engagements (SCE) team to develop our most complex and strategic commercial pursuits. In this role, you will help customers create a vision and execute on a transformation strategy across AWS Cloud and Pan Amazon offerings to reimagine, reinvent, transform, and create new business models and economic value.
As a thought leader in Cloud driven business, you will help customers create the transformation roadmap. We are looking for industry specific (or cross-industry) expertise (e.g., Health and Life Sciences, Insurance, Banking, Automotive, Media and Entertainment etc.) and a breadth of functional expertise (e.g., Supply Chain, Smart Factory, Shop Floor etc.) to work with our customers. If you have a track record of success on large, complex, and multi-year transformation engagements, this opportunity may be for you.
Key job responsibilities
- Work with senior leaders (CEO, CFO, COO, CIO, CTO, Line of Business SVP's etc.) to create and align on a thesis of transformation and to build a common vision of transformation strategy
- Influence C-level executives and build trusted relationships
- Build the case for change and prepare board-ready presentations and briefings for communication to senior executive stakeholders
- Serve as the AWS business sponsor for the strategic transformation initiative
- Engage in pursuits that span across multiple Amazon businesses
- Partner closely with Sales Leadership teams and the Field Sales organization
- Partner with cross-functional teams across Amazon and partners (legal, product, engineering, architecture, structuring, and professional services) to execute a winning pursuit
- Shape or reshape opportunities to meet the needs of our customers while leveraging Amazon capabilities
- Resolve escalations

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
- 10+ years in a technology-related pre-sales (solution-engineering) role
- 5+ years delivering enterprise-wide technology capabilities across multiple business units within large organizations
- 3+ years driving change or transformation programs using the cloud
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with customers running multi-hundred-million-dollar IT budgets
- Executed a large migration to AWS
- Established voice (via blogs, books, presentations, or other thought leadership) in the technology community
- Ability to empathize with a large company's existing legacy - people, process, or technology - and help map a way forward.
- Experience managing a global team and IT infrastructure
