Job Description:
Do you have the career opportunities you want in your current role? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join Essentia Health as a Cardiac Rehabilitation Specialist II! In this role you will get to: Assists in the evaluation and treatment of patients ages 13 years old and older referred to the Cardiac Rehabilitation Programs, and other programs associated with the Cardiac Rehabilitation Services. Is also involved in the ongoing development of these programs. Responsible for supervising graded exercise tests in the non-invasive cardiovascular lab.
Education Qualifications:
Work Experience:6 months experience in cardiac rehabilitation.Meets Core Competencies as defined by AACVPR for Cardiac Rehabilitation Specialist.
Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology or health care related field.
BLS certification within 1 month of hire. ACLS certification within 6 months of hire. ACSM Certification - ACMS Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist or Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist or certification eligible and obtained within 6 months of hire.
