Our facility in Highlands Ranch, CO seeks a mid-career Program Planner to join our mission supporting the Lockheed Martin Space IGNITE organization which is responsible for the research and development of new technologies. IGNITE performs groundbreaking research, develops ground-breaking products for internal and external sale, and accelerates technology development at an unheard-of rate for Space. The IGNITE organization has been charged with removing the barriers to creativity and change to become a more cost-effective company. It will push the boundaries of possibility, experiment with new ways of completing the mission, and develop products and technologies years ahead of our current operations. As our Program Planner, you will...
- Develop Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) & Program Summary Master Schedules (PSMS) for development or contractual programs
- Track progress of program activities against baseline internal plans, and ensure schedule margin to contract dates is achieved or maintained
- Maintain schedules, perform risk analysis, and identify critical/driving paths while developing solutions for resolutions along with network logic validation/deconfliction
- Perform proposal submittal and execution schedule development through preparation and assessment of progress against established plans and parameters
- Maintain cost and schedule integration throughout the program lifecycle
- Implement and monitor Earned Value Management System on programs
Our employees working in our level 3 roles typically have 5 - 10 years of experience.
Although this position does support some teleworking, the selected candidate will be located near our Highlands Ranch, CO facility and be expected to work in the office as needed and as appropriate.

Basic Qualifications:
- 3-7 years of professional experience in an operational planning or scheduling type of capacity
- Working knowledge of a scheduling tool such as MS Project (preferred), Open Plan, Primavera, ProjectView
- Earned value and/or demand management experience
- Ability to perform schedule integrity checks and critical path analysis
- Demonstrated ability to compile, prepare and present information to management and customers
- For facility access and program requirements, must be a United States citizen
Desired Skills:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college
- Extensive Microsoft Project Server and Microsoft Excel
- Additional program planning knowledge/experience working on government reportable programs
- Experience with resource loaded schedules
- Experience with Schedule Risk Assessments (Monte Carlo simulations)
- Strong sense of follow-up and closure with strict attention to detail and quality

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $74,700 - $143,100 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
