Job Description:
Under direct supervision, assists with selected routine and technical aspects of nursing care to patients of all ages. Works within job scope to meet the requirements of the Joint Commission and other applicable federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies. Assists with maintaining a physical environment which promotes healing.
Education Qualifications:
Must be enrolled in accredited school of nursing or a nursing program approved by the state board of nursing in the state the internship will occur.Completion of junior year of a Bachelor's in Nursing program and enrolled in a nursing co-operative type course.
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 1 month of hire.
