Summary

As Creative Project Manager you will be the quarterback for the creative team. You will oversee a variety of creative projects and timelines across multiple channels - working on very tight deadlines while coordinating with cross-functional partners within the Creative team (Brand Marketing, LSM, Digital, Production, Creative & Culinary). The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial in spirit and is motivated by managing multiple projects and complex work flows. You are highly organized and are a resourceful problem-solver, seeking out the necessary information to provide a solution. You communicate effectively and efficiently with people across organizational and experience levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage weekly cross functional project tracker meetings for all creative projects

  • Provides teams with detailed notes from meeting for the creative team on project next steps

  • Facilitates communication between various project stakeholders

  • Responsible for delivering assigned projects on time and within budget

  • Ensures project briefs and project kick-offs are completed

  • Work closely with the Sr. Director of Creative

  • Assign work to creative team from cross-functional clients

  • Evaluate project requests and briefs for completeness of content and ensure input from stakeholders/marketing director.

  • Partner with production teams to manage key schedules for each project on deliverable dates

  • Attend all project kick-offs and ensure proper follow-up across support team and creative departments

  • Manage and communicate shifting priorities to ensure projects reach completion for expected due date

  • Oversee multiple projects at any given time, keeping track of project progress in Basecamp and Smartsheet while communicating status to stakeholders as necessary

  • Provides work-flow management of all graphic design related projects

  • Maintain job status, tracking and monitor progress

  • Create schedules for each project and partners with creative team stakeholders to assign resources/risk

  • Manages and communicates shifting priorities to ensure projects reach completion for expected due date

  • Reviews projects for accuracy and ensures they are routed to the appropriate stakeholders for approval prior to release

  • Acts as a go-to resource for project-related questions and concerns

  • Estimates pricing for costs with vendors and aligns costs to the current marketing budget

  • Takes initiative to improve current project management processes

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of project management experience in creative environment

  • Knowledge of the creative design process and associated timelines

  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Ability to effectively lead meetings and present to small and large groups

  • Extremely strong communication and organizational skills

  • Attention to detail, organized, self-motivated, and able to balance priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Basecamp is preferred

  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud is preferred

Physical Requirements

Office work involves remaining in a stationary position most of the time in front of a computer, using a keyboard, mouse and telephone. Regularly operate a computer and other office equipment. Occasionally move about the work site to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc. Exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or regularly move objects. Communicate and exchange information with co-workers and other individuals in person and electronically.
