Summary
The Supply Chain Administrator reports to Supply Chain leadership. As the Supply Chain Administrator, you will be responsible for monitoring the inventory position across our items at our broadline distributor, liaising with our broadline distributor and supplier partners where needed, as well as handling the intake and general administrative management of queries into the Supply Chain team. This includes resolution and redirection of issues / questions to the appropriate category / functional owner. In addition, you will support with ad hoc requests across Demand Planning, Sourcing, and QA.
Key Responsibilities
Use existing software, reporting, and analytical tools to review inventory positions at our distributor for core items
Collate and communicate/flag inventory concerns with our broadline distributor and supplier partners where needed
Assist in the timely resolution or re-direction of day-to-day Supply Chain issues from the field or Support Center colleagues
Build and maintain solid relationships both amongst and outside of the Supply Chain team
Efficiently and effectively use reference lists (store contacts, distribution contacts, category manager lists)
Proficiently navigate an array of system and platforms, to respond to / resolve questions regarding order status / order errors etc.
Independently solve problems and make decisions for tactical issues within your control
Reinforce and promote best practices around supply chain communications and issue resolution
Support administrative areas of the supplier onboarding and management process
Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency
Support tactical activities related to new store openings and special projects
Maintain and update supply chain databases as needed
Basic Qualifications
1+ years of direct work experience in process and project management - preferably in the restaurant industry
Undergraduate degree with a focus in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or related field
Very strong planning, prioritization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
High attention to detail and accurate data entry
Baseline understanding and working knowledge of supply chain (demand planning, sourcing, distribution), and how it relates to field operations
Familiarity with operational needs, functions and objectives
Self-starter with ability to deliver results
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel and Teams.
Proficiency in Smartsheet
Physical Requirements
Office work involves remaining in a stationary position most of the time in front of a computer, using a keyboard, mouse and telephone. Regularly operate a computer and other office equipment. Occasionally move about the work site to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc. Exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or regularly move objects. Communicate and exchange information with co-workers and other individuals in person and electronically.
