Job Description:
With minimal supervision, applies highly advanced skills in performance of PBX maintenance and repair work with complex telecommunication systems including voice mail, automatic call distribution, and call processing devices and software. Responsibilities include: Working with users to determine needs and designing systems accordingly; developing and implementing plans for major moves, adds, and changes; implementing approved plans; managing projects or portions of projects involving telecommunication equipment and systems; performing advanced maintenance and repair on equipment and systems and performs preventive maintenance; and documenting all work. Supports and trains less experienced technicians in performance of duties. Work Experience: Over 7 years' experience working with telecommunications technology or demonstrated ability to meet skill requirements of job description.
Education Qualifications:
Completion of technical school coursework in telecommunications, electronics, related field, or equivalent.
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
No certification/licensure required.
