The Message Therapist is responsible for organizing and delivering individualized massage therapy to enhance health and healing by decreasing stress, pain, muscle tension and other discomforts that relate to the stages of antepartum and postpartum care. Maintains a safe, clean environment for patients to promote the healing process. Communicates with patients during massage therapy sessions about the location and strength of exerted pressure on the tissues being massaged. Adheres to providing patients with a positive experience by promoting the mission and values of Essentia Health. Works within the job scope as defined by the state regulatory and accrediting agencies.
Education Qualifications:
No educational requirement.
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
Current massage therapy license in state of employment.
BCLS within 60 days of start date.
