THE ROLE:

The Program Manager, Supplier Diversity & Inclusion will lead the development, implementation, management and reporting of all aspects of Live Nation's supplier diversity and inclusion initiatives. Reporting to the Head of Global Procurement, this role will serve as a key resource regarding industry trends and best practices in supply chain diversity and inclusion as well as remain knowledgeable concerning the availability, capabilities and development of diverse suppliers that may be relevant to Live Nation.

This position will work closely with Live Nation's Global VP of Diversity & Inclusion to ensure supplier diversity and inclusion efforts complement broader enterprise diversity and inclusion initiatives. As supplier diversity and inclusion initiatives mature, the Program Manager will be expected to serve a critical role in community relations through interaction with the diverse supplier community, government agencies, and non-governmental organizations that focus on the development and economic empowerment of diverse firms.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Research and, in collaboration with the Head of Global Procurement, Global VP of Diversity & Inclusion, and other key stakeholders, develop an initial supplier diversity and inclusion program for Live Nation that reflects our commitment to advancing diverse supplier spend

  • Facilitate Global Procurement D&I efforts by identifying diverse suppliers and engaging their participation in competitive or direct sourcing efforts across multiple stakeholders, venues and/or teams

  • Advocate advancement of and build sustainable growth opportunities for diverse-owned businesses across decentralized supplier selection structure to develop a scalable pipeline of diverse suppliers

  • Lead cross-functional work teams with the goal to expand opportunities for diverse suppliers; measure and report results and progress toward Live Nation's D&I priorities

  • Collect, track, and report metrics to ensure program goals are met including:

  • Dashboards, analyses, and consolidated reports of spend with diverse suppliers and other related data across the enterprise

  • Compilation of reports into presentations used internally and externally

  • Provide annual compliance reporting, as required, to internal stakeholders, key customers, and government agencies

  • Monitor and analyze trends, benchmark data and report both corporate and industry impacts, emerging and best practices, and recommendations to key internal stakeholders in a timely manner

  • Work with Category Managers to conduct annual analysis of potential opportunities

  • Work with Compliance team to manage process of Supplier Diversity status identification and maintenance to ensure integrity of information

  • Work with other Global Procurement team members and/or key stakeholders to pre-qualify suppliers, review performance, resolve issues and provide guidance to enhance supplier capabilities and growth

  • Develop and maintain content for an internal Supplier Diversity & Inclusion page on the Global Procurement intranet site

  • As appropriate, actively engage and participate in the preparation of internal and external events promoting and recognizing Supplier Diversity & Inclusion efforts.

  • Work closely and collaboratively with various internal cross-functional organizations that are vital to supplier diversity and inclusion program success, including Operations, Legal, Compliance, Finance and others

  • Additional duties as business needs arise

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • B.S./B.A. in applicable field; advanced applicable degree and/or CPSM, CPSD Preferred

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Sourcing & Procurement or related field, including at least 5 years with responsibility for Supplier Diversity & Inclusion-related initiatives

  • Experience in designing and implementing successful Supplier Diversity & Inclusion Programs

  • Adept at building and maintaining supplier relationships and track record of driving continuous improvement from suppliers

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Experience establishing strong relationships with supply chain professionals, internal stakeholders, diverse supplier community and external advocacy organizations

  • Experience leveraging procurement experience to develop value added relationships with procurement professionals and functional leaders to increase the development and utilization of diverse suppliers

  • Experience conducting analyses and developing actionable recommendations and implementation plans

  • Project management experience demonstrating ability to prioritize activities across a team and sustain team performance during extended projects

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Skill in understanding and developing process flows

  • Excellent negotiating, consensus building and conflict resolution skills

  • Extensive communication and teamwork skills with both internal and external customers

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a rapidly changing, highly decentralized environment

  • Ability to effectively represent Live Nation and Global Procurement in various settings with internal and external leaders

  • Willingness to -constructively dissent- and challenge senior management thinking on key supplier diversity and procurement issues

  • Strong leadership and management skills; viewed as credible by various business unit leaders

  • Ability to solve problems guided only by general organization objectives, policies, and goals

  • Skill in using computer software applications such as MS Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook

  • Operating in a fast-paced professional environment, including both in office and remote work

  • Travel to various locations; overnight travel

  • Use of a laptop computer and/or telephone over 4 hours a day

  • Occasional bending, twisting, crouching, pulling, pushing, and/or reaching to access job-related materials

  • COVID-19 vaccination will be required for this position subject to legally valid exemptions

  • Experience using data analysis to identify trends and recommend opportunities for improvement.

  • Demonstrated ability to persuade others through indirect influencing

  • Strong organizational and project management skills

  • Experience in facilitating/leading workgroups, process teams and focus groups

  • Independence - Ability to complete tasks and initiatives with a minimal amount of supervision

  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time

  • Experience in the entertainment industry, particularly live music, preferred
