T-Mobile has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Corporate Counsel role. This role will represent the organization on legal matters as assigned. Responsible for preparing supporting documents such as briefs, contracts, patent applications, and filings. Provide counsel to managers on legal matters impacting managers' areas of responsibility.

What you'll do in your role.
Engage, work with, and manage outside counsel relationships
Mediate discussions and draft complex agreements and transactions. Guide the business in assessing short-term tradeoffs in the context of broader strategic imperatives
Drive departmental initiatives, including the development or redesign of legal support processes to increase efficiencies and better align to the needs of the business
Serve as trusted advisor for several specialty areas. Inform on a broad range of strategic legal and business matters
May manage up to 2 employees, including Corporate Counsel, with full cycle management responsibilities
Supports team initiatives and creates an inclusive environment
The experience you'll bring.
8+ years as a business attorney, with relevant in-house and/or top law firm transitional experience
Ability to lead highly sophisticated projects and other high impact initiatives
Ability to establish self as subject matter specialist in specialty field
Ability to interact with senior management with strong executive composure
Mentor and lead others informally in areas of expertise
If supervising employees, must have minimum of 1-year experience supervising employees in all areas (i.e. communication skills, provide leadership and direction for team, subject area, mentor, develop)
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Able to collaborate with other legal and business professionals in a complex organization with a focus on delivering results efficiently
Keen business sense with excellent judgment, decision making skills, analytical, drafting and ability to mediate discussions
Ability to operate independently and effectively in a dynamic environment
Work with a variety of personalities across the business organization
Strong prioritization skills, and execution and results orientation with customer dedication
Efficiently meet fast paced goals and balance multiple tasks in a thriving environment
Desire and ability to work as part of a team
