The Electroneurdiagnostic Technologist performs standard electroencephalographic examinations and nerve conduction studies for patients of all ages according to established standards set by ASET, AANEM and Essentia Health under the guidance of a Neurologist.
Education Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited institution for neurodiagnostic technology or equivalent on the job training.
Work Experience: Previous EEG and NCV experience in an acute hospital setting or ambulatory care setting preferred.
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or ability to become certified within 3 months from date of hire.
Current Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist certification or must obtain within 3 years of hire or transfer date.
Current Certified Nerve Conduction Technologist (CNCT) or Registered Nerve Conduction Technologist certification (RNCTC) or must obtain within 2 years of hire or transfer date.
