SAIC is seeking a highly motivated Program Integration SME to provide SETA support to SAIC's Program, Landmark in Chantilly, VA. Landmark is a large SETA program, supporting the NRO's Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED), responsible for the acquisition of systems over the complete end-to-end life cycle.

AS the Program Integration SME you will support an OPIR Joint customer Program Office responsible for acquiring the Overhead Persistence GEOINT Architecture (OPGA) that will provide the user community with OPIR capabilities in a modular, open architecture that provides global, persistent, real-time surveillance and activity-based intelligence information. You will provide SETA support as a Systems Engineer and will be responsible for providing Joint Intelligence Community Government project leads with the planning, organizing and management of the integration and sustainment of OPIR ground systems into the operational site. This position supports a hybrid Agile process with the Government as the overall integrator in a Cloud Environment.

You will also provide SETA support for a range of system engineering efforts, technical expertise, continuity of effort and value-added judgment, while advising and interfacing with ISPO's leadership as required.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Providing Systems Engineering Technical Advisor (SETA) and Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) services with a focus on integration and operations of a complex mission system and supporting IT infrastructure

  • Working with the team leads, program managers, and acquisition professionals to validate an acquisition strategy and its ability to support a technically feasible outcome that meets the customer's needs.

  • Integrating new systems and initiatives in support of customer/mission partner requirements and work directly with our developers and users in operations.

  • Understanding system-to-system interfaces and act as an Integrator

  • Assisting in preparation of presentations and reports

  • Monitoring system and segment schedules, and recognizing dependencies.

  • Identifying risks and opportunities

  • Aiding in meeting facilitation and information sessions

  • Frequenting client interactions, and supporting system and mission strategy development across the various ground office.

  • Following customer standards and processes through the life cycle

  • Interacting with multiple Acquisition Offices (AOs) and support technical consultation, meeting coordination, and support to recommendation briefings.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

  • A technical degree: 9 years with BS/BA or 6 years with MS/MA or 3 years with PhD

  • Active Top Secret/SCI with Poly

  • Intelligence Community experience and work history with Mission Partners

  • Experience with GEOINT or Multi-INT Systems and architecture

  • Experience as a System Engineer or System Integrator

  • Experience identifying user/enterprise requirements, gap identification, analysis, and way ahead

  • Experience creating brief packages for technical requirements, implementation plans, risks, and success criteria

  • Project management skills

  • The ability to quickly/concisely brief project status to senior leadership

  • Familiarity with cloud-based product offerings/specifications and be able to offer solutions..
